Contentful introduce Default Values

In the latest version of the Contentful CMS platform Contentful have introduced the ability to add default values to fields when content modelling. They can be applied to the following field types:

Boolean
Plain text
List
Number
Date

The default values will be applied to empty fields through Web app, Compose, the API or any other Contentful developer tools.
